England reality show 'Big Brother' winner and Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty said that she was not surprised with noted Superstar Amitabh Bachchan taking over her in hosting 'Big Boss' season three. 'Big Brother's Indian version 'Big Boss' season two was hosted by Shetty but in 'Big Boss' season three Mr Bachchan was approached and he agreed for it. This piece of news didn't come as a surprise to Shilpa as she was told before hand by the Creative head of the channel about their decision, and she feels happy that they've got him to say yes as she wrote on her blog reacting on this turn of events. It could possibly be a decision from the channel to get more TRPs as Shilpa's presence on the show was not able to draw in the crowds.
The actress asserted that she knows that Big B would do a fantastic job. "The channel has the right to do what's best for the show so that's that," she opined. Citing reasons of her not able to do the coveted show, she pointed out at her busy schedule and said that she would be shooting the whole of October and November in England, so she couldn't have done it this time. Nevertheless she will miss 'Big Boss' as it has shot her back to fame when she was almost lost in anonymity.
