One could never have called him media savvy. In fact, the actor has always been known to shun the media. Unlike, say a Shah Rukh Khan or an Aamir Khan, actor Salman Khan has always tried to stay away from the public glare, albeit with little success. But he has never been known to actively court the media which his contemporaries have been doing. But it seems that Salman seems to have finally found his feet. He seems to have suddenly become a lot more accessible. The actor seems to have woken up to the fact that he needs to interact. And now that his film 'Wanted' is up for release this Friday, the actor is suddenly all over the newspapers and television, giving interviews ands quotes. Besides hosting a TV show, he has also been seen as a guest on at least two other shows. Suddenly, Salman seems to be the flavour of the season, and producer Boney Kapoor must be ecstatic. After months and years of chasing Salman for his dates for shooting and dubbing, the actor suddenly seems to have woken up to the film's potential. Initially, Salman was believed to have been stalling the film as he wanted Anil Sharma's 'Veer' to release before 'Wanted'. But he seems to have changed his mind, much to his producer's relief. 'Wanted', which also stars Ayesha Takia, has been directed by Prabhudeva, the man known more for his effortless moves on the dance floor. A remake of 'Pokhiri', the film is supposed to be an action packed drama. Apparently, the actor shot for some 160 days for the movie and is believed to have said that he has never ever danced as he has done so in 'Wanted'. Of course! being Salman, he has attributed the flurry of media appearances to his respect for Boney and commitment to the project. The infant terrible of the industry seems to be finally growing up!
