New York, Aug 27 (ANI): Angelina Jolie and beau Brad Pitt certainly don't believe in wasting time, and so they took a helicopter to attend a party in the Hamptons.

The celeb couple were due to host a dinner of about 50 people to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina, and rather than driving for three hours to reach their destination, they decided to hop into a helicopter to make it to their event in a mere 45 minutes.

The event was held in the Hamptons on New York's Long Island.

A source said that the helicopter ride was a "logical" way to get to the party on time.

"They didn't want to make the long trip by road so this was the logical way to get to the party on time," the New York Post quoted the source, as saying.

The party took place at the home of producer Jane Rosenthal and her husband Craig Hatkoff.

Christie Brinkley, Ellen Barkin and Jimmy Buffett were among the celeb guests.

The fund-raiser helped promote Pitt's Make It Right project, which is aiming to rebuild areas of New Orleans' Lower Ninth Ward with environmentally friendly homes. (ANI)
