Nagesh Kuknoor has been going through a pretty low phase these days. His last release, 'Tasveer 8x10' failed to click at the box office despite the presence of Akshay Kumar. Also a couple of his projects have been held up, due to no fault of his. One of these is the film 'Yeh Honsla', is now set for a release next year. Kuknoor managed to finish the film by March this year but was not able to release it. The film is now expected to release next year in March, on Women's Day. The film's leading protagonist is played by Sameera Reddy. Her character is that of a Dalit grasscutter, who with the help of two more women, played by Tanuja and Tanvi Azmi, brings about a change in the lives of women in their area. With the film being concerned mainly with female issues and most of the characters too are females, it just seemed appropriate to release the movie on March 8, which is celebrated the world over as International Women's Day. 'Yeh Honsla' has been shot mainly in Rajasthan, specially in parts of Jodhpur as it focuses on the lives of the women of that region.
