A section of the media had recently reported about an imaginary friction between Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, on the sets of Yash Raj's upcoming TASHAN. The ludicrous theory goes something like this - Akshay and Saif acted together in a number of successful projects (during the early 90s) and at that time Akshay being the bigger star, got the meatier roles. He expected the same in TASHAN, but seeing that Saif had an equally significant role, Akshay lost his cool and the two are no longer on talking terms.However, the truth is just the opposite. On Saif's birthday ( August 16), the two were shooting together for TASHAN and had a whale of a time. In fact, so happy was Saif that he vowed to become a teetoller and a vegetarian, just like Akshay! On a show aired just a couple of days back, Akshay too talked about the congenial atmosphere on the sets of the film.
We hope that after reading this, at least for now, the gossips will cease!
