This time around Abhay has a slightly rugged look to suit the setting of the film. Since the film is set in a small desert town, the character played by Abhay, who is a government engineer with high fascination for solving mysteries, is required to bear a different persona altogether.

This is the reason why he is shown to be bearing a moustache with an overall personality giving him a somewhat elderly look when compared to his boy next door image. Also, out go his designer clothes and instead come basic shirts and trousers with a 'desi' leather jacket, all of which combine to give him a 'pucca sarkari' look.

Shot mainly in Rajasthan, the film has debutant director Navdeep Singh at the helm of affairs. The film has an ensemble starcast comprising of Raima Sen, Gul Panag and Sarika along with Vinay Pathak and Kulbhushan Kharbanda.
