Bhatt boy Rehan Khan has been signed by Sangeeth Sivan for his next film CLICK and he can't stop grinning from ear to ear.

"After a low key debut in 'Jaana - Let's Fall in Love', I was fortunate to get a part to play in AWARAPAN. It is due to Bhatt saab's confidence in me that I saw a revival in my career and here I am doing a film with Sangeeth Sivan. I am blessed", says Rehan fondly.

"CLICK is a horror flick and I am happy to have bagged it so soon in my career. It feels good to be able to work in a challenging assignment like this when you have to explore your own boundaries", speaks 24 year old Rehan with the maturity of a seasoned actor.

He seems pretty excited about the new film for which work would begin in September this year. "Extremely excited, quote it that way", he laughs, "With CLICK I am getting an opportunity to play a conventional Bollywood hero. The film has an urban youth setting and I would be getting an opportunity to show my dancing prowess, something that I have been waiting to show to the audience."

His debut film 'Jaana - Let's Fall in Love' did have a dance number but unfortunately the film didn't work at the box office due to which his act went unnoticed.

"I am sure that won't be the case with CLICK", reacts Rehan, "There are some hardcore rock songs in Sangeeth's film with tunes set by Pritam. I have some dance numbers in the film and for that I have already started practicing. I have also enrolled myself to dancing classes."

On a different note, doesn't CLICK scare him since in AWARAPAN, he hardly had a part to play. Does he feel that he will be shortchanged due to Shreyas Talpade's presence? Rehan thinks for a moment before answering, "I am not worried at all because first and foremost I play a parallel lead in CLICK. It has been made clear from the very onset. Secondly, it wasn't as if I was taken for a ride in AWARAPAN. In fact from the very beginning I knew the length of my role."

And he still went ahead and signed that? Didn't he think twice about taking that step?

"I did think but not in the way you mention. Instead I was thinking about the wonderful thing that Mahesh Bhatt saab mentioned. He taught me that it is not the length of the role which is important. Instead it is the value of the role and the importance of a character in the script which is of utmost importance.

He gets all emotional while adding on, "Also, I can't forget for a moment that only Bhatts came forward when all seemed to have ended for me after 'Jaana - Let's Fall in Love'. When everyone said that I was finished even before I took my first step, the Bhatts hugged me and made me a part of their family. Anything for them, literally anything."
