Actor Shah Rukh Khan and director Farah Khan are very upset with Sajid Nadiawala. The promos of their forthcoming film, Om Shanti Om, were not shown along with the Nadiawala's Heyy Babyy at the film's recently held trial shows. The promos of Om Shanti Om were missing from most of the 20-odd trial shows that were held for the film fraternity at Yash Raj Studios in Film City.
SRK was very keen to receive feedback from the industry for one of his most ambitious projects and he has missed out on that. The superstar is fuming and what makes it worse is that he is very close to director Sajid Khan because of Farah and he never expected Sajid to be so careless, specially since the film is directed by Sajid's sister. What must also be playing on his mind is the fact that he went out of his way to do a special item song at Sajid's request. He is not happy that his promos went missing at the trial shows held at Yash Raj studios. In fact, SRK only learnt about it when he called one of his friends for feedback and they told him that they never saw the promo. That's when he is known to spoken to Sajid about this. Sajid, meanwhile, has gone on record to say that the promos of Om Shanti are being shown along with the film all over the country and were also shown at the trial shows of Heyy Babyy. The producer says that 700 promo prints of Om Shanti Om were attached to negatives of Heyy Babyy in a laboratory and definitely cannot be edited put during a screening. But sources insist that Om Shanti Om promos were not shown at important trial shows. The trial show organized by Akshay Kumar and Ritiesh Deshmukh at Yash Raj for instance, did not feature the promos.
