The first Indian film selected in the Argentina festival.

Mumbai, 27th August '07; After receiving accolades for 'German Star of India' at the Stuttgart Film Festival, Apna Asmaan again hits the news by making its way in the San Luis Cine Festival International (Argentina). This is for the first time in Indian Cinema; a film has been selected in the Argentina Festival. With an exceptional cast Irrfan Khan and Shobana (South veteran actor & her first Hindi film), new find teenage Dhruv Panjuani, Rajat Kapoor and Anupam Kher, the film is making wonders.

The film is about a teenager's journey to be loved and admired for what he is rather then what his parents want him to be. Apna Asmaan takes this story line "How far would you go to make your child a genius?" and gives it the sensibility of an urban thriller, making it an entertaining yet thought-provoking film about parents and their demands of their children.
