Time and again one continues to hear complaints/speculations/rumours/grapevine/loose talk about how Akshay Kumar has short-changed his fellow actors during or after the making of the film. Especially in multi star cast films, Akshay has been accused of either hogging all the limelight during the film's making or cutting his fellow actor's role at the editing stage.Arjun Rampal, who has worked with Akshay before in box office success AANKHEN, has just crossed the first stage after returning from the Europe shoot of the film. A major part of the film has already been canned but Arjun never felt that he was being short-changed by the senior actor. Instead, he believes that the camaraderie was perfect amongst all the actors.
''We all had a lot of fun since the overall atmosphere was so great. Both Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala (the film's producer) made sure that our entire stay was so comfortable and happy. Along with Akshay (Kumar), Riteish (Deshmukh), Deepika (Padukone), Lara (Dutta), Boman (Irani) and Jiah (Khan), I could feel an overall positive energy that was prevalent for all these days. It was all so important actually to get the right camaraderie since the film is about so many characters all thrown together in tricky comical situations'', says Arjun.
About HOUSEFULL, Arjun says, ''It was good fun to be a part of this riotous outing since it's a genre which I haven't ever ventured into. I wanted to do a lighter film after all the aforementioned films and I am glad I did HOUSEFULL even though my character is still quite intense.''
HOUSEFULL has now embarked upon another schedule and the cast and crew of the film has moved to Hong Kong for a week to can some major sequences.
