When it comes to style, the one name in Bollywood by which people swear by is indeed Salman Khan. So, other than kicking some serious butt and running around the trees on screen Sallu is also well known for his classy dressing sense. Many young wannabe Salmans often ape him and follow their fashion Guru blindly, sporting his trademark bracelet too. So when The Italian brand named 'Guru' wanted to launch their clothesline in India, they aptly chose Salman Khan The Style Guru to walk the ramp for them. Salman was accompanied by Lara to walk the ramp for the brand. The show kick started with a bunch of young and cute school going kids walking the ramp, they were led by young superstar Darsheel Safary. Then came in the bunch of the older and sexier lot comprising of Jesse Randhawa, Candice Pinto, Sanea Sheikh, Deepti Gujral, Shamita Singha and Diandra Soares strutting on the 70 foot ramp with hunks like Inder Bajwa, Sahil Shroff, Hrishant Goswami, Namit Khanna and Asif, adorning the chic urban collection by the brand. Show stopper Lara then strutted in a pair of white knee length pants with a sleeveless white top, completing it with bling silver accessories, while Salman was looking great in his casual style with a body hugging tee shirt along with a pair of cargos. The women went berserk cheering for Salman as he coyly and confidently strutted on the ramp. After the launch, Salman still seemed in an ecstatic mood and obliged by answereing the media questions gleefully. When questioned about his experience of walking the ramp he said" it seems easy when you are an onlooker, you feel all you need to do is go up there and walk, but when you are on the ramp it does give you jitters". Also when Lara was asked why are film actors walking the ramp so often, Salman joked "Because it is good money" and Lara added "I did not even charge a dime for the Lakme Fashion Week, I like to walk the ramp as it brings back old memories of my modeling days". Both Salman and Lara were all praises for the collection the brand had to offer and thought the clothes were chic and urban and suited their persona.
