Big brother, the famous television reality show till recently enjoyed good popularity. However there was a hue and cry raised during the show’s last season due to the ‘racist’ slur of Jade Goody against Indian actress Shilpa Shetty.

The issue refused to die down for a long time after that and there were opinions that the show no longer enjoyed any popularity among the European audience and that the TRPs generated were only due to Asian audiences who watched the show because of Shilpa’s presence.

This has made Channel 4 which has been airing the big brother show to give it a break this season and maybe discontinue the show altogether. Whatever be the problem with the show but it did make Shilpa Shetty who was till then getting ‘blink and you miss it’ kind of roles or just item songs became a celebrity beyond proportions.

She is now looking to pair against the biggest names in Hollywood like Daniel Craig and Hugh grant. And Indians were thinking of sending a few more of such actress to the show and give them a new lease of life. This news would have crashed their dreams, still happy Raksha Bandhan to all the Big Brother fans
