Shiamak Davar, the Guru of Modern Contemporary Dance in India, is all set to cast his magic spell across Europe as he takes on the role of Creative Consultant and Choreographer for Indian Dances for premier show India - The Incredible Spectacle of Maharajas. Shiamak Davar announced the launch of the show at a royal press conference held at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur in the presence of His Highness Maharaja Sahib of Marwar-Jodhpur.18 members of The Shiamak Davar Dance Company have also been chosen perform in the show which will have a total of 70 artists. The event, will premier on 17th December in Frankfurt and will travel extensively across Europe for an entire year.
''It is an absolute honour to be associated with an event of this magnitude. In my opinion dance is perhaps one of the best ways to portray the richness and the diversity of Indian culture and I will strive to do just that with the pieces that I choreograph'', says dance magnate, Shiamak Davar.
Through this show, Shiamak is geared up, once again, to showcase the legacy and heritage of India to audiences worldwide.
