Amitabh Bachchan's make-up man Deepak Sawant made history of sorts when he made Ganga, the biggest Bhojpuri hit to date. It also brought the Big B into Bhojpuri films. Now Deepak is all set with a sequel called Gangotri. But he now seems to have changed it mind about about making it in Bhojpuri and is all set to make it in Hindi instead. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Bhumika Chawla and Manoj Tiwari. It will mark the Hindi debut of Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari. According to Sawant, when he saw the entire film on the editing table, he realized that it was a complete Hindi film, in the sense that it is a complete family drama. Now the actors will have to dub in Hindi. He anticipates a large audience for the Hindi version. Women, he feels do not visit theatres to see Bhojpuri films as the crowd is too rowdy. But the case is different for Hindi films. The film is scheduled to be released during Diwali. The director is looking to have it released in multiplexes.
