Washington, Aug. 29 (ANI): Bald men trying various tricks to grow hair on their head may now seek Hollywood star Richard Gere's advice too, for the actor claims to having discovered the potion that put hair on his chest.
The Pretty Woman star is convinced that Sarajevo's potent moonshine was the reason why he got hair on his chest.
He and The Hunting Party director Richard Shepard spent many nights glugging Slivovich hooch in Bosnian bars during the film shoot.
Gere says that bald men may benefit from the plum-flavoured liquor, for he believes it is a secret hair booster.
"It is pretty serious stuff. It grew hair on my chest. I had no hair there before and now I have this fur," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
Shepard has also revealed his interest in getting a regular supply of the moonshine.
"It's a plum brandy and the town we filmed that bar in, they were making a vat of it, I'm not kidding you. It was just burning in pig dung to heat it up. So the smell was unbelievable," he said.
"There were all these dead flies and it was gurgling. And the locals were like, 'Please have some. Welcome to our town.' I was like, 'Alright, there's only one time I'll be offered homemade Slivovich in the middle of the mountains.' They gave it to us and it was actually weirdly quite good," he added. (ANI)
