Washington, Aug. 29 (ANI): Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad approved filmmaker Oliver Stone's plans to make a biopic about him on Tuesday.
Earlier, several reports suggested that Ahmadinejad was unhappy with Stone's proposal to make a film about him, after his country's film officials called the Platoon director "part of the Great Satan".
The leader, however, made it clear at a press conference that he did not have any qualms about the Oscar-winner's plans to turn his life into a movie.
"I have no objection, generally speaking, but they have to let me know what are the frameworks. They should talk to my colleagues," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
Ahmadinejad, the son of a blacksmith, became Iran's President in 2005 after serving in the country's Revolutionary Guards, and then serving as the Mayor of Tehran. (ANI)
