After basking in the warm glow of success for so many months, director Abhishek Kapoor of 'Rock On!' fame has now decided to get cracking on his next project. The director is believed to have started work on the screenplay for his next feature along with his writer Pubali Chaudhary and novelist Chetan Bhagat. This will be Bhagat's third novel which is being adapted for the film medium. Abhishek is working on adapting Bhagat's 'The 3 Mistakes Of My Life' for his next film. Another of Bhagat's novels, 'Five Point Someone', is being used by director Rajkumar Hirani for his forthcoming movie, '3 Idiots', which stars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor. But unlike Hirani, who has merely taken his inspiration from the novel, Abhishek's film will be based entirely on Bhagat's novel. The main protagonist of the novel is a character called Govind, an accountant, and the story is about the three big mistakes of his life. The novel is set in Ahmedabad and the director is expected to retain the novel's small town atmosphere in the film. Like 'Rock On!' before, even this film will be produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment. However, it is still not sure about who will play the lead protagonist in the movie. Abhishek is yet to take his call on the cast of the movie, something that he will do only after the script is ready.
