Madhavan is one of those stars who always try out different genres and experiment on a regular basis. And this time he is going to grace the screens with his much delayed “Evano Oruvan” directed by Nishikant Kamath and also will be seen in Seeman’s “Vazhthukkal”.
Maddy also tried his hands in Bollywood with Rehna Hai Tere Dil Main, Ramji Londonwale and Dil Vil Pyar Vyar but found acceptance only with his Rang De Basanthi and the recent Guru.
Now director Nishikant Kamath and Madhavan are joining hands for yet another Hindi film “Yeh Hai Mumbai Meri Jaan” - a real life story about the Mumbai train blast. The movie will also feature many talents including Madhavan’s Rang De Basanti co-star Soha Ali Khan, Kay Kay Menon, the award magnet Irfan Khan and the funniest man in Bollywood Paresh Rawal.
“These kinds of movies, based on headlines, are a welcome change,” said Madhavan. And such movies are actually good for the Indian cinema, especially when talented actors feature in it. Thanks to the multiplex audience, such genres of movies are explored. It is to be noted that two other movies are getting ready on the same subject, but in a different perspective.
