Adjustments are part of the game. And as long as filmmakers and producers do not let their egos come in the way, most issues between them can be solved. Karan Johar and UTV seemed to have realised that and avoided a clash with producer Vipul Shah. As everybody knows, Dharma Productions' next, 'Kurbaan', directed by Rensil D'Silva , was originally set to release on November 27 along with 'De Dana Dan', produced by Shah and directed by Priyadarshan. Displaying a more pragmatic approach towards releasing their films, both sets of producers and distributors have decided to be more reasonable about the issue and have avoided a clash with each other. According to sources, 'Kurbaan' will now release on November 20 and 'De Dana Dan' on November 27. Realising that a clash was not really going to help either party, they have wisely decided to desist from battling it out with each other at the box office. Both 'Kurbaan' and 'De Dana Dan' have a strong star cast and are expected to be huge draws at the box office. While 'De Dana Dan' is a another one of Priyadarshan's comedies, and will see his favourites, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal reuniting once again after 'Hera Pheri'. The other members of the cast include, Katrina Kaif, Neha Dhupia and Sameera Reddy. As for 'Kurbaan', it is a film in a much more serious vein and stars Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi and Om Puri. One will remember how Karan Johar, the Dharma Productions' boss went ahead and personally apologised to Raj Thackeray of the MNS party after there was some opposition raised to the word Bombay being used in 'Wake Up Sid', instead of Mumbai. His one act ensured that the film had a smooth release and is doing quite well at the box office.
