PVR spreads ALADIN magic in Gurgaon

PVR Cinemas organized a press conference of the film ALADIN on 21st October 2009 at PVR Premier at Ambience Mall in Gurgaon. Amitabh Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh and debutante actress Jacqueline Fernandez addressed the media and answered their questions regarding the movie. ALADIN is been directed by the young director Sujoy Ghosh of JHANKAAR BEATS fame. The film also casts Sanjay Dutt, Juhi Chawla and Sameera Reddy in pivotal roles. ALADIN is slated for release on 30th October 2009.

The spokesperson of PVR Cinemas, Mr. Gautam Dutta - CEO Cine media stated, "We are happy to host such promotional activities. PVR is a pioneer and a trailblazer in Multiplex development in India, and is the largest cinema exhibition player in the country today. We welcome the cast of ALADIN and wish them good luck for their film."

Amitabh Bachchan thanked the organizers at PVR for arranging the Press conference. He hoped that ALADIN will entertain the youngsters and adults alike and that more and more people will watch movies at the theatres instead of watching them on pirated CD/DVDs.

Speaking about the movie, Big B, Amitabh Bachchan describes ALADIN as a fantasy movie, a revamped version of the Arabian Nights, where he dons the role of 'Genius' the genie who steps out of a magic lamp to grant three wishes to ALADIN, played by Riteish Deshmukh. Jacqueline Fernandez, who plays the Princess Jasmine, gives him a magic lamp- that lets loose the genie. Sanjay Dutt is cast as the villainous Ring Master.
