Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh is all set to re establish his credentials as an actor. His first film, 'Johnny Gaddar', saw him making his debut with a character that was not your typical hero. It was a brave debut for a leading man. But Neil was willing to take on that challenge.
However, his second film 'Aa Dekhen Zara' did not fare so well while 'New York' was a huge success. Now the actor is awaiting the release of his fourth film, 'Jail', directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. The film has already generated a lot of interest, not the least of it being, Neil's 'nude' scene in the movie. The film was shot in a start to finish schedule at Karjat and luckily for Neil, it was also shot chronologically, making it easier for him to shed the emotional baggage that he may have taken on, in assuming the character of Parag, the protagonist of Jail, who has been falsely convicted and sent to jail. Madhur's films are known to be hard hitting and also for the strong, author backed roles. 'Fashion' did wonders for Priyanka Chopra and 'Chandni Bar' did the same for Tabu and Atul Kulkarni. Neil will be hoping that 'Jail' does the same for him. Incidentally, the actor, who actually began his acting career as a child artist in films like 'Vijay' for the Yash Raj banner, is now all set to act in another Yash Raj movie post 'New York'. The film will see him starring opposite Deepika Padukone. But for the moment, the attention is all on 'Jail'. Neil is determined to first to do films which will establish his credentials as an actor.
