It's now a case of 'is it or is it not?' Have Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor, Bollywood's cutest couple split or not? Opinions are divided on whether the two have split or whether this is just another gimmick to promote their Jab We Met, that will be released in October.

Most papers and TV channels carried the news about the couple splitting because of the entry of the third angel in the form of Saif Ali Khan. Apparently Saif and Kareena became close while shooting for Yash Raj's Tashan. Back in Mumbai, the couple have been taking their new found friendship quite seriously as they have been spotted dining with friends at a famous Chinese restaurant in the suburbs. Neither Kareena nor Shahid have issued any comments. Shahid is away in Canada, shooting for Nagesh Kuknoor's film, while Kareena has chosen to remain silent. On the other hand, there is a section which insists that there is no split but this is just a publicity stunt to promote Jab We Mer. Since the couple have failed to create any stir at the box office with their earlier films, this angle cannot altogether be ruled out, feel many. Of course, there is another angle to it as well. Some feel that it is just another minor quarrel between the couple which has been blown out pf proportion. The couple has been together for the last three years and have always seemed quite committed to each other. Well, we can only wait till one of the parties involved decides to say something.
