The audio of director Chandru's Sivaji-Shruthi starrer Taj Mahal, Telugu remake of super hit Kannada film Taj Mahal, was released at Rama Naidu Studios, Hyderabad. Dasari Narayana Rao released the audio CD and presented the first copy to Srikanth. Bhumika released the audio cassette and gave it to Ravi Prakash. Sivaji, Bhumika, Brahmanandam, Sonia, Ramajogayya Sastry, Bhaskarabatla, music director Abhiman and others were present. Produced by Shivaji himself under the banner of Sri Sivaji Arts, Taj Mahal revolves around an engineering college student Ajay, who is madly in love with Shruthi. When Ajay reveals his love, Shruthi refuses as she is already in love with Kumar. With an interesting flashback, the film goes on to tell that Ajay and Kumar are the same!
