Those who know the story of the film maintain that Vivek is an extremely integral part of the film and that he has several key scenes with both Saif as well as even with Kareena. A source who has seen the film, says that Vivek has given such a strong performance in the film that he just wants to sit back and let critics and audiences react. Although he is a bit hurt by being side lined in all of the promotion, apparently Vivek feels this time around he should let his work speak for him and that he may just end up being the surprise packet in the film, stunning all with his performance. Looks like age, and some very hard times have really matured Vivek from his press conference days.
