Karan Razdan wants his film to influence the judicial system and bring justice to millions of women who suffer silently from marital rape. Hence the bold subject MITTAL VERSUS MITTAL that stars Rituparna Sengupta, Rohit Roy, Suchitra Krishnamoorthy and Gulshan Grover. "My film is loosely based on true life stories. It is on research, on personal incidences that happens with people whom you know," says Razdan.Adds producer Dinesh Chugh who dared to put his money on such a realistic subject that is considered taboo for most so-called commercial film-makers, "To me, MITTAL VERSUS MITTAL was a film about real characters. A subject as difficult as marital rape is the most difficult to handle. And I admire Karan's guts."
