London, Sep 2 (ANI): It seems that Simon Cowell has a perfect statement ready for justifying his super-crude remarks while judging contestants on the X Factor.
Cowell reduced a group, consisting of two sisters and their husbands, to tears during the reality show's audition rounds, when he branded them "boring" and suggested they stuck to "carol singing".
"My advice is just do carol singing at Christmas, make a bit of money but that's about as far as it's ever gonna go," the Mirror quoted Cowell, as saying.
Following the remarks, the group protested, saying that they just needed the "right direction".
Simon, however, continued his criticism by saying: "Yeah - its right over there, the door. Everything is wrong, the image, the lack of charisma, it was boring, I didn't like what you were wearing".
Ultimately the group were forced to tears and further protested, but even that didn't seem to have an effect on Simon, who answered back, "I am never wrong!" (ANI)
