Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif share an impeccable record together. After being seen together in close to half a dozen films and sharing huge success that has come their way, the duo would be seen in laugh riot DE DANA DAN. Though many feel that Katrina owes her success to Akshay, the man refuses to take credit for that. He instead attributes her popularity to the inherent talent that she carries and calls her 'one in a million'.

Considering the fact that earlier Priyanka Chopra and now Katrina Kaif have given back to back hits with him, is he happy to be playing their mentors?

"I am extremely happy to be their mentors but then they are free agents", says Akshay who has worked with quite a few newcomers in his two decade long career, "They owe nothing to anyone. They got where they are because they are talented. I saw it in them and that's why I wanted to work with them. I am no Guru."

Together, Akshay and Katrina have given super hits like SINGH IS KINNG and WELCOME. While NAMASTE LONDON was a good success as well, HUM KO DEEWANA KAR GAYE, their first film together, was a decent box office grosser too. On the other hand with Priyanka Chopra, Akshay has a cent percent success with hits like MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI, WAQT - RACE AGAINST TIME, AITRAAZ and ANDAAZ.

Since today, both Priyanka and Katrina have become successful with other actors as well, case in point being KAMINEY [Shahid Kapoor] and AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI [Ranbir Kapoor], whom is he looking at next to bring under his patronage? Is there any newer generation girl that makes him believe that he could initiate a project with her?

"No, I don't make it a hobby to help heroines", Akshay is quick to respond, "I wait and I watch and I will of course be there to guide any damsel in distress. However, a 'Katrina' doesn't walk by a film set everyday. They are one in a million for a reason."

Releasing this Friday, DE DANA DAN also stars Suneil Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Sameera Reddy and Neha Dhupia along with a plethora of Priyadarshan regulars like Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Manoj Joshi and Shakti Kapoor.
