London, Sept 4 (ANI): Actor Michael Douglas is backing Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton for the U.S. presidential election in 2008.
The actor insisted that he would be thrilled if the Senator won the race for the White House.
"I would be very happy if she won. I would like my president to have pillow talks with Bill Clinton," Contactmusic quoted Douglas, as saying.
The Basic Instinct actor is renowned for his liberal views and work with the United Nations and was named a United Nations Messenger of Peace in 1998.
He once asserted that though he respects publicly elected officials, he himself is not aiming to be one among them.
He admits that he believes in giving priority to diplomacy to public service. (ANI)
