A new era in Indian cinema has begun. The cinema movement in India started long back with big studios like Prabhat, Gemini, Rajkamal, etc produced movies and then came the days of individual producers, big production houses and off lately corporate venturing into the business of cinema, and every body thought that this was the end of it. People started to that if you have to make a good film you either need a strong producer/ financer or a big corporate house supporting you. But there was one option let wide open which no one thought of or even if they had it in mind were not able to perceive the matter forward, we are talking about the co-operative movement.

We thought that only banks, credit societies, sugar factories, milk producers only can work on co-operative basis, but cinema, who would invest in a cinema, but one man thought and persistently pursued the matter. The story does go a few years back when a visionary Amarjeet Amle a student of cinema and his friends thought of a cinema movement. They started a group called Spandan Parivar Cinema Movement and started conducting workshops on cinema teaching student various aspects of cinema. Spandan is a family of 150 people who have shared some amount and collected funds to produce cinema, promote good technicians assist them in their studies their necessities regarding career in the field of film making.

Amarjeet Amle along with Milind Ukey a talented director who assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali, a winner of many state awards for his Marathi film DEVAKI, and the man who actually brought to life a rejected project which happens to be India's 1st Animation film HANUMAN, thought of making a film on co-operative basis. They collected shares from all their Spandan members and have produced India's 1st co-operative film adapted from a famous Marathi Novel "Shala". This best seller is penned by Milind Bokil.

HUMNE JEENA SEEKH LIYA is a story of teenage romance of a school boy and a school girl blooming amidst the schooldays, fun and masti... but runs into trouble with socio - political issues. The film makes a strong statement on the education system and many issues of teen age, handled skillfully by Milind Ukey.
