London, September 6 (ANI): Former "James Bond" actor Sir Roger Moore wishes he had raked in as much of moolah as his successor Pierce Brosnan, when the former portrayed the suave agent in seven 007movies.
"I made seven Bond films and they were all successful. Maybe I could have done with one of Pierce Brosnan's - or rather I could have done with one of Pierce's pay cheques!" the Daily Express quoted the 79-year-old as saying.
He hailed Daniel Craig for the kind of performance he has given in the 21st Bond flick Casino Royale.
But Moore still said that if he were given a chance to star in any of the Bond movies of his choice, apart from the ones in which he had starred, he would not select Casino Royale.
"It certainly wouldn't have been Casino Royale - jumping across those cranes and the building site. No thanks - I don't have that sort of energy. Daniel Craig [Brosnan's successor] deserves every penny of his salary for that alone," he said. (ANI)
