Sarathkumar is stepping down from his Nadigar Sangam throne. With the launch of his political party, Sarathkumar who is also heading the Nadigar Sangam seems to have decided to concentrate on politics by officially resigning from his responsibility as the Chief Officer of the Sangam.
It is learnt that Sarath has sent a formal resignation letter to the Sangam to this effect.
Earlier Sarath formally launched his "Agila India Samathuva Makkal Katchi" on August 31, 2007 at Kodambakkam Raman theatre, Chennai. He also released his party’s agenda that being generating interest among the public to vote, expanding scientific horizon, and enhancing agriculture.
The party’s state meet is proposed to be held on December12, 2007 in Madurai.
