Washington, Sep 7 (ANI): Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe was taken aback when a fan stole his boxer shorts during his final performance of stage play Equus in London.

The teenaged star had just undressed for his concluding sex scene in the play in June this year.

But he was left stunned when a girl rushed towards the Gielgud Theatre stage and seized the shorts Radcliffe had just removed.

"They were just lying at one corner of the stage. I think she actually got them and started to leg it off and somebody had to chase her and get them back," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

Meanwhile Radcliffe and his on-screen uncle in the Harry Potter series, Richard Griffiths are reportedly soon going to be seen on the London stage in a revival of Peter Shaffer's 'Equus'.

The on-screen persona of the young boy wizard will be making his West End debut in January 2007, when he takes on the role of a emotionally-troubled boy prone to nudity and the blinding of horses in the drama. (ANI)
