New Delhi/Mumbai, Sep 7 (ANI): Cinegoers gave thumps-up to 'Dhamaal', a fun-filled caper about four friends and a cop, played by Sanjay Dutt, who is out on bail in 1993 Mumbai bomb blast case.
'Dhamaal' is a story of four small time conmen, who are being chased by a cop, Sanjay Dutt, through out the film.
Arshad Warsi, Ritesh Deshmukh, Javed Jaffrey and Ashish Choudhary are playing the conmen in the movie.
Director Indra Kumar has managed to deliver a full fledge entertainer despite the fact the film has no heroine, something which is a rarity in Bollywood.
The performance of Ritesh Deshmukh was appreciated by most of the movie buffs.
"The movie was awesome. Ritesh Deshmukh was good. The movie revolves around ten crores (100 million) rupees," said Sakshi, a movie buff.
"It's a one time movie. It has good comedy. Sanjay Dutt was good but Ritesh Deshmukh was better," said Siddharth, another movie buff.
Sanjay Dutt, attended the premier with his friend Manyata.
Talking about the movie Dutt said, "It is very close to my heart. We had a lovely time. It is beautiful- Arshad, Ritesh, Javed- everybody is fantastic."
Director Indra Kumar, who seemed little nervous on the premier of the movie, can now breathe a sigh of relief.
"I have made this film so that whole family can see the film together. People usually watch the film in the theatre and forget about it after stepping out of the theatre. But I want people to remember my film for long time," said Indra Kumar.
Dhamaal is the first film of Sanjay Dutt to be released after he was convicted and sent to jail. (ANI)
