Washington, Sep 8 (ANI): Music producer Timbaland believes that troubled singer Britney Spears will make the biggest comeback ever - but only if she reconnects with her family.
Talking to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show on Sep 7, Timbaland said that the 'Toxic' singer's return could prove to be unparalleled, provided she reunites with her folks.
"I would love Britney to have a smash, it would be the greatest comeback ever. I think it would be phenomenal, but I think she's got to be connected with her family. She can't do it alone," People quoted Timbaland, as telling Seacrest.
Comparing Spears to another famous singer, Timbaland added that everyone needs a support system in their lives.
"Sly can't come back on his own, he needs the family Stones. You need a team. You can't be an island," he said.
MTV recently confirmed that Spears, whose new album is due to be out on Nov. 13, will perform the Video Music Awards on Sep 9. But, according to Timbaland, the excitement of her performance may be exaggerated.
"Britney's cool, but I think that ... it was too much. Now it's like, 'Okay, Britney's opening, she got a new song.' ...It's kinda dull. It's kinda flat-lined," he said.
Talking about Britney's new song, "Gimme More," the producer said: "I haven't heard it but everyone tells me, they just don't say nothing about it." (ANI)
