Melbourne, Sept 10(ANI): Cate Blanchett new Shekhar Kapur directed movie "The Golden Age", is yet to open, but she's already talking about putting her royal robes back on for a third time to play the 16th century monarch Elizabeth I.
The first film "Elizabeth" earned the actress an Oscar nomination for her role as the charismatic monarch in 1998, and Blanchett insists that she is ready for a third film on the Virgin Queen's life.
"There are endless possibilities with Elizabeth ... And I think there will be a lot more Elizabeth (films) because she's endlessly fascinating", Moviehole quoted, Blanchett, as saying.
Shekhar Kapur, the director of the two films, is very keen on making the trilogy.
"The first one was about power and love, betrayal, survival, separation and disengaging all in the context of power. This one is much more about absolute power ... and being divine ... and what that means" he said.
"The third one (would be) about if you become a model in your life, how would you face mortality ... If you go to the top, and you suddenly are going to die, you become average, ordinary by dying because everybody dies," he further added. (ANI)
