Harry Baweja produced and Vikram Bhatt directed SPEED would finally be arriving the screens on 28th September. Based on Hollywood flick CELLULAR, the films also brings together Urmila Matondkar along with Sajnay Suri who is set to create a hat trick of on-screen pairing.Eariler, the duo was seen in seen in offbeat films like PINJAR and BAS EK PAL. None of the two films were box office successes though they were critically acclaimed. SPEED is the first instance of the two coming together in an out and out commercial outing.
Sanjay Suri and Urmila Matondkar play a husband and wife in the film as the character of Urmila is shown to be trapped in a situation where she only has a cell phone for company. Her savior in the film is played by Zayed Khan who tries to maintain a contact with her through his cell phone to save her life. Ashish Chaudhary plays a cop while Aftab Shivdasani is the main villain in the film.
With Tanushree Dutta, Sophie Chaudhary and Amrita Arora adding on to the glamour quotient, SPEED is touted to be a high voltage edge of the seat thriller.
