London, September 12 (ANI): Sir Paul McCartney is one of the stars who will be performing at the BBC's Electric Proms.
He will play classics from his former band 'Beatles' and songs from his latest album 'Memory Almost Full' at a concert on 25 October.
'Kinks' frontman Ray Davies, punk icon Siouxsie Sioux, and 'The Chemical Brothers' have also been lined up to perform at the BBC's annual music festival, which features major and new artists creating unique performances.
Siouxsie will perform as part of Johan Peel night in honour of the late DJ, while Davies will play a number of classic 'Kinks' tracks at The Roundhouse on 28 October.
The event, which will feature 80 acts, takes place at various venues around Camden in London from October 24-28, reports the BBC.
New York based producer-DJ Mark Ronson will team up with the BBC Concert Orchestra for a special concert at the event. He will also be accompanied by Candie Payne, Lily Allen, Terry Hall and 'Charlatans' frontman Tim Burgess.
The Electric Proms will be covered on BBC radio, BBC Two, and online. (ANI)
