Blessy isn't the kind of director who'd go about delaying his films. in fact, he is one of the few Indian filmmakers who insist on pre-shoot rehearsals in order to minimize time consumption and expenses.

So, what is going so drastically wrong on the sets of 'Kolkotta News', his latest film?

It looks as if all the bad publicity that Meera Jasmine, the film's heroine, had been getting in Tamil and Telugu has started to catch up with the Malayalam film industry too. Until now, Malayalam filmmakers had no trouble with the actress. Else she wouldn't have become the highest paid actress in Malayalam.

But things seem to be very different on the sets of 'Kolkotta News'. Rumors are on that due to her careless attitude and extreme late-comings, she had caused lot of monetary loss to the film's producer and Dileep had to postpone the launch of his new film with director Lal Jose.

In short, 'Kolkotta News' has become bad news for Meera Jasmine.
