Simran is now making headlines for another reason.

Though she had announced a long time ago that she was going to sue the director and producer of her most recent Malayalam film 'Heartbeats', nothing more has happened in that regard.

Now, she has made another decision.

Last time, during the Tamilnadu State Legislature elections, she had surprised everybody by campaigning for AIADMK. The party lost the elections and her friends and family members wondered if she'd be victimized by the new government. But, peace seems to reign.

She is now going to host a dance show on the TV channel that will soon be launched by the party.

Simran has now decided to never get involved with politics. "When I campaigned for AIADMK during the elections, there was lot of mental strain on me. I don't want to go through the stress for any party again," she says
