And now, India's favorite passion turns competitive!FILMY proudly announces the call for entries for BOLLYWOOD KA BOSS, India's first ever film-based quiz show, which aims to find the person with the maximum 'FILMY gyaan'! In a country crazy about films and film stars, this first-of-its-kind Bollywood quiz show aims to pitch the best of the best against each other in a battle for the coveted crown of 'Bollywood Ka Boss', and the grand prize of Rs. 50 lakhs. The program format has been created by Siddhartha Basu's Synergy Adlabs, who are also producing the show.
Speaking on this occasion, Seemanto Roy, Head - Sahara One Media And Entertainment Limited and Aamby Valley City, remarked, " Ever since its launch, FILMY has strived to be different from other movie channels by offering original film-based content over and above blockbuster films. Anchoring the show and playing quizmaster will be none other than Bollywood superstar Boman Irani. Speaking on the occasion, the seasoned actor said, "Not too many people know, but I'm one of the biggest film fans, and an avid Bollywood quizzer. If ever there was a show that would have excited me to take to television, it had to be this. I have worked with Siddhartha before, and I trust him completely. And the FILMY team has a very clear vision on how massive the potential for a show like this can be, if produced and promoted in the right way."
