The very mention of Meera Jasmine's name makes Blessy see red.

Blessy is one of the young, talented Malayalam directors. His first film 'Kazgcha' was about a young boy who loses his parents in the Gujarat earthquake. Mammootty acts as a film operator screening films in fairs. This film got Blessy recognition as a good director.

His next film 'Tanmatra' featuring Mohanlal got the best actor award apart from other awards. His third film was 'Palingu' again featuring Mohanlal.

Blessy is presently directing 'Kolkata News' with Dilip and Meera Jasmine in the lead.

During the shooting at Kolkata, Meera suddenly went missing. She also did not attend the training/workshop session before shooting. It is Blessy's habit to usually convey his character study of the characters to be portrayed before the start of a film's shooting. Even top stars like Mammootty and Mohanlal cooperate, while Meera Jasmine has carelessly brushed that aside.

Now, the shooting for 'Kolkata News' is taking place at Kochi. Meera Jasmine locked herself up in the caravan saying she is not in the mood for shooting and this caused great annoyance to the unit members as the day's shooting had to be cancelled.

The film should have been released for Onam but because of Meera's irresponsible behavior, the film is not yet complete. Both Dilip and Blessy have decided not to work with her again.

If Meera and her mood out behavior continues, she will be knocked out from the film field!
