Perarasu is great when it comes to parents or sibling sentiment, but he is not in favor of wife sentiment.
Naatarasan Kottai Perarasu was married to Santhi from Erode, before he entered the film field. He was then employed in a soft drinks company. In 2001, he came to chennai to work as assistant director in films and brought his wife along too. After she went to her parents' place for her first deliver, she did not return.
Shanti accuses that her husband and his family rejected her after he got money and fame. Perarasu accuses that she ditched him when he was going through a bad phase and wants to get back after he started to get popular and monetarily affluent.
Whatever be the case, Shanti has now applied for alimony. The Bhavani court has instructed Perarasu to give Rs.10,000 for Shanti as alimony and Rs.5,000 for the child's upkeep every month.
After the flopping of 'Thirupati' and 'Dharmapuri,' Perarasu is badly in need of a hit. Now the court order is another hurdle. Perarasu has to now sail through both!
