You have to hand it over to debutant director Manish Tiwary for beginning his Bollywood foray with a film that tells the story of youth in an innovative manner. DIL DOSTI ETC. is a film which comes with a catch line "When you are young, you believe the possibilities are endless".Based in a campus for major part of it's narration, the film takes you inside the hearts and the minds of the college goers who have different beliefs, aspiration, dreams and desires. And one such desire is to of course be happy and find love, which is depicted so very well in the track 'Dum Laga'.
The song has an interesting reference to the term FOSLA which instantly reminds one of the college days. Standing for 'Frustrated One sided Lover's Association', it is bound to met with a cheering response as it is mouthed on screen. There are many other funny terms from the college days which have been incorporated in the narrative to give the film a realistic look and feel.
Starring Shreyas Talpade, Imaad Shah, Nikita Anand, Smriti Mishra and Ishita Sharma, DIL DOSTI ETC. is a Prakash Jha production and releases all over on 28th September.
