London, September 15 (ANI): Hollywood film director Quentin Tarantino has revealed that former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair's wife, Cherie, is a fan of his films.
He revealed that during his stay in his Liverpool hotel room this week, Cherie Blair invited him for a chat.
"The secret service guy was like, 'Cherie Blair would like to meet you,'" the Sun quoted him as telling of how a security guard conveyed him her message.
"So I went out and we started talking. She was telling me she was from Liverpool. Then she said, 'Can we get a picture, do you want to go to my room?' We took a picture and everything and then we took a picture with all of her lads," he added.
Tarantino, who was in Liverpool for a charity screening of his new film 'Death Proof', said that Cherie liked his work.
"Obviously Cherie liked my work. And so it's like 'hello!' it was a real thrill," he said.
"The only other person like that I've met before is Al Gore," he added. (ANI)
