Hema Malini has been ambushed by calls and smses after someone spread the news that the Dream Girl had signed Abhishek Bachchan for her untitled home production alongside daughter Esha Deol and Rekha. Adding further shock are reports that she is also planning to rope in Amitabh Bachchan to act opposite Rekha.

The news set off frenzy because of the controversial pairing of Rekha and Bachchan Jr. Hema is understandably appalled at the news and amazed at how the rumours started. She was quick to set the record straight that she was not directing but producing the film to be made under her banner—HM Creations. She denies ever making any official statement about the film or its cast. Even though Abhishek is on her wishlist, she denies that she has signed him on. Reports have also been doing the round that Hema has signed Revathy as director for the movie. The actress confirms that she has not signed anyone as director so far. Currently, the actress is working with her creative team on the script as she is still not happy with the climax.
