Yet again, Dileep is getting ready to try his hand at doing action films. These days, the actor's career and image is going through a massive transformation. The audience isn't that happy with his comedy films. They still aren't ready to accept him as an action hero.
So, he now is trying to play "normal" roles in his new films.
But, in spite of the mixed results that his action "adventures" had drawn at the box office, the actor isn't giving up that easily. His new film is going to be an action-entertainer. 'Chandanakallan' is the name of the film.
Acclaimed action and suspense film maker K Madhu is going to direct it. Dileep plays the role of a sandalwood smuggler in the film. They haven't finalized a heroine yet.
