The music of Saawariya will soon be out in stores for all and it is going to be a must-have album. The film has 11 songs, and if the title song which can be heard and seen in the film's latest promos is anything to go by, the film's music has hit written all over. Of course that should not come as a surprise considering that all of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's films (except for Black which did not have any songs) from Khamoshi to Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas have had phenomenal music. But an interesting point which most are unaware of is that Saawariya marks the 500th film for lyricist Sameer who at the film's recent music launch said "It took me 500 films to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali". Coincidentally while its Sameer's 500th film, its music director Monty Sharma's first as a full fledged music director after having composed the background score for Black and Devdas. Speaking of Saawariya, one can not forget that it marks the debut of Rishi and Neetu Kapoor's son Ranbir along with Anil Kapoor's daughter Sonam. However an unusual coincidence is that while Shailendra Singh sang for Rishi Kapoor in his debut film Bobby, the title track of Saawariya, picturized on Ranbir, has also been sung by a singer whose name is...Shailendra Singh! Looks like Bhansali's got all the right ingredients to ensure the film's music is a super hit!
