Sushmita Sen's ambitious dream of launching her own production house with the historical Jhansi Ki Rani where she plays the lead of course, is running into a few problems. The problem has got to do with the director of the project.
Initially, the film was to be directed by her ex-beau Manav Menon. But the end of their personal relationship seems to have brought the curtains down on their professional relationship as well. So it is believed that Sushmita offered the film to Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi. But the good doctor had a lot of conditions. Besides that, he also insisted on rewriting the entire script as well. Sush was not willing to fulfill his conditions, so he opted out. A desperate Sushmita is also believed to have then gone ahead and offered the film to Anees Bazmee (of No Entry fame). Bazmee is smart enough to know that a historical is not really his cup of tea so he declined politely. So it seems that Sush has no other option but to go back to Manav to bail her out. But since the two of them are still on talking terms and are reported to be good friends, he just might bite the bait.
