Even before its launch, the Vikram-Shriya starrer Kanthaswamy has been in the news. The frantic search by director Susi Ganesan for the right locales, the time and efforts spent on costumes for the film, the invite for the film's launch - have all been under scrutiny and discussion. Producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu finally revealed the invite in a press meet yesterday. The electronic invite with a built-in DVD player will be one of its kind in the history of cinema. This unique idea was conceived by Susi Ganesan and the card was made in China. 1500 invitations are being made for the occasion and there are efforts by the producer to find a place in the Guiness Book of World Records. A special trailer featuring the lead pair was also screened on the occasion. Kanthaswamy, featuring Vikram, Shriya, Raghuvaran and Vivek in lead roles, will commence on September 23rd, with a grand muhurat at Devi Theatre.
