Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra seems to be undecided about his leading actor for his next film, Delhi 6. He has apparently dropped Aamir Khan's nephew, Imran, as well from the film. He had approached the actor for the role and then changed his mind about that as well. It now makes Imran the sixth actor to be replaced. Of course Mehra is still to find his replacement.
Mehra approached Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, Siddharth and Ranbir Kapoor, in exactly that order, to play the lead role in Dilli 6, which was supposed to go on the floors this month. The film has naturally been delayed but the producers, UTV Motion Pictures, are being surprisingly patient with the director. Mehra is conducting extended meetings with his assistants and his creative team but is yet to home in on his leading man. The story goes that every time Mehra finalises an actor, he becomes exceedingly critical of his own choice and wants to rope in someone else. As of now, he is bent on taking a new face. He is also believed to be considering a US-based youngster for the film.
